SCHEDULING FAQ

Q: How do I begin working with Albert Tassi Dental Studio?
A: Simply contact Albert Tassi Dental Studio via phone, or email, and request a WELCOME KIT, that includes:
a personalized Welcome “Reference Booklet”, Rx forms, Shipping boxes & “New Account” form.  Scheduling your first pick-up can be done the same day that you contact the lab for the first time, anywhere in the United States.

Q: What delivery service does Albert Tassi Dental Studio use?
A: Albert Tassi Dental Studio provides pick up and delivery service with our own “Molar Express” delivery vehicles to dental offices and subcontracting laboratories in the greater Chicagoland area.  This allows us to offer faster turn around time and more flexibility in picking up your cases. molar express_edited-2The Company also utilizes the services of the Same Day Delivery Service Company (888) 656-4600 for Local, and DHL (1-800-225-5345) for Nationwide service. Upon first contact, Albert Tassi Dental Studio, will determine the most efficient service for your office.

Q: What is the turn-around time on lab work from Albert Tassi Dental Studio?
A: While turn-around time varies depending on the restoration and complexity of case; for most local crown & bridge cases or veneer cases the IN-LAB turn-around is 7 working days which translates to 9 working days (weekends & holidays excluded) total turn-around from your office and back. For mail order/ DHL cases, please allow 11 working days total turn-around from your office and back. Please contact Albert Tassi Dental Studio regarding the timing of implant and combo cases. 

Albert Tassi Dental Studio is committed to doing everything possible to help our valued clients meet their goals. With that in mind, we will expedite your cases whenever possible to decrease turnaround time. Keeping in mind that your cases will be delivered between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm, PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE DELIVERY DATE ON THE RX IS THE DAY BEFORE THE PATIENT IS DUE IN YOUR OFFICE!

A. Yes we can rush your case through the lab (an additional charge may apply depending on how quickly you  need the case), please call us locally at (630) 530-7007 or toll free at (888) 622-7835 before shipping.

Q: Do you do same day repairs?
A: Absolutely! Please call us at (630) 530-7007 for more details. Need to save even more time? You can have your patient drop off and pick up their own repair as long as a DDS signed Rx is sent with the case or faxed to us at (630) 530-7024.


PRODUCTS & SERVICES FAQ

Q: What should I send to the lab to get the best results?
A: For more complicated & anterior esthetic cases, Albert Tassi Dental Studio can assist you with complementary treatment plan design, material selection and sequencing of your more challenging cases.  As a general rule we recommend diagnostic wax-ups for all cases over 8 units, all smile make-over cases, and any case where there may be a change in VDO.

General Recommendations:

  • Pre-op impression
  • Provisional or Wax-up Model
  • Full arch prep & opposing Impressions is ideal, however, when using a Triple Tray, Albert Tassi Dental Studio recommends “Quad Tray by Clinician’s Choice” (Call us at 630/530-7008 or 888/622-7835 to order your supply of Quad Tray by Clinican’s Choice)
  • Bite: Albert Tassi Dental Studio recommends Bite Registration Tabs by Almore Int. ((800) 547-1511

Q:  Will I have to repeat my specific general requirements on each Rx?
A:  No, You can request that particular requirements of your practice be followed consistently, and Albert Tassi Dental Studio will enter those requirements into our computer system. On all subsequent cases, your preferences will automatically be printed on each and every work ticket that we generate for you. Albert Tassi Dental Studio is a medium sized lab, and the owners personally check every case that leaves our lab to insure accurate and consistent work.

Q: Are Promotional materials for patients are available through your laboratory.x-rite3
A: YES, please call during regular business hours with your request. 

Q: Do you provide custom staining?
A:  Yes! We provide this service in-lab using the X-Rite ShadeVision system for accurate color analysis.

Q:  Do I have to supply the implant parts?
A:  No. If you prefer, we can do this for you. It's up to you. We'll help you either way. We work with all of the major implant manufacturers on a regular basis.

Q: What is your warranty policy?
A: We are proud to guarantee our work to be free of defects due to materials or workmanship. We guarantee the appliance to fit the provided model and to be constructed to the design requested on the Rx. We will remake or repair any appliance at a reduced fee or at no charge. Read more regarding Albert Tassi Dental Studio’s warranty:

    If for any reason your case fails upon insertion, remakes or repairs will be completed at NO charge with NO questions asked
    providing that: 
      1.) Albert Tassi Dental Studio had accepted your case after the dies had been trimmed… and
      2.) that the restoration is returned with ALL the corresponding models, impressions & bites.
    Upon receipt of the above items, the restoration will be remade or repaired at NO charge to you.

Q:  Do you accept Credit Cards?
A:  Yes, Albert Tassi Dental Studio is happy to accept Visa, MasterCard, and AMEX from clients who have signed up for our AutoPay Program.  Albert Tassi Dental Studio’s AutoPay Clients enjoy the following advantages:visa-mc

Q:  What other payment methods do you offer?
A:  Albert Tassi Dental Studio offers open account status to most of our Doctors.  Invoices are sent with cases and statements are mailed on the last business day of the month. The statement balance is due and payable by the fifteenth of the month following purchase. A service charge of 1.5% per month (annual rate of 18%) will be applied to any unpaid balance. Any costs associated with collecting an unpaid balance, including legal fees, will be charged to the customer. Accounts with outstanding balances of over 60 days will be converted to a COD basis.
